Magazines by Highlights

Highlights hit the market in June 1946. It was geared for children ages 6-12 and over time grew into the most popular children's magazine in the country. By 1995, it was selling 2.8 million subscriptions to families, and was found in doctors offices across the country. In 2007, Highlights launched High Five for children ages 2-6. In December 2012, it introduced Hello Magazine for ages 0-2years old. As circulation dropped some in recent years, Highlights decided to move some of its content to mobile devices, and in 2017 it launched the new mobile app Highlights Every Day.

               Garry Cleveland Myers and his wife Caroline Clark Myers
               worked as editors of Children's Activities Magazine before
               leaving and starting Highlights in 1946. They later bought
               Children's Activities and incorporated it into Highlights.
